Group for children

Every Monday approximately 20 children between 9 and 14 meet in Coelbe in order to learn various folk dances. Between 6 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. Anke Lindner teaches them traditional figures and steps at an advanced level. This group regulary participates in the "Landes-Kindertrachtentreffen", a Hessian folk dancing meeting for children and organises trips abroad every year. In addition to this there are a lot of public performances in the local district throughout the year. On these occasions the young dancers wear their Protestant costumes with the well - known red skirts.
